Per Chance?

What are the odds

of a sycamore leaf

and a maple leaf

falling away from their trees

on opposite sides of the street

at just the right time

and just the right notion

and motion of wind

for their fluttery,

downward, sashaying flight

to land them together in one spot

like the palms of two hands clasped -

his right one, her left?
