Time Line

Time Line

Ragged line,

not from any dream.

Yet in dreams I magnify small sections -

they nearly catch fire.

When I wake up, they shrink

back into the line.

And when the line is calmed,

the edges fall, into curves,

turning almost over on themselves,

in times of rest.
