The Stone Crop

Fields of stone await the laborers:

Some see boulders - heavy, immovable -

and turn aside.

Some bring hammers - reducing mass to dust.

Others chisel forms - and bow their heads.

While those who lift and carry - build walls

encircling fields soon fallow -

Ready for the seed.
