MONDAY American Masters (PBS, 9-10 p.m.): ``Stella Adler: Awake and Dream'' concludes a three-part documentary on the impact of the influential Group Theatre.

TUESDAY All-star baseball (NBC, 8:15 -11 p.m., E.T.): The National and American leagues face off at California's Anaheim Stadium in the 60th game in this classic event. The Struggle for Democracy (PBS, 9-10 p.m.): Premi`ere of a 10-part series - with host Patrick Watson - that travels to 30 countries and interviews all kinds of world leaders in a study of history's hardest political task: self-government. The opener, ``Genesis,'' goes to Athens, Greece.

WEDNESDAY Live From Lincoln Center (PBS, 8-10 p.m.): ``The Mostly Mozart Festival'' opens its 23rd season with violinist Itzhak Perlman joining the Mostly Mozart Orchestra under Gerard Schwarz.
