Condoleezza Rice hasn't missed her old job while writing a memoir
Condoleezza Rice doesn't miss her former job of US Secretary of State. Rice also said current Secretary Hillary Clinton has reached out to her.

Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice says she doesn't miss being a player in world affairs, saying "it's nice to be out of the pressure cooker."
Rice tells NBC's "Today" show that when she hears breaking news, "I can say now, oh, isn't that interesting, and I don't have to do anything."
Rice says she doesn't talk regularly with her successor, Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, telling the network that "when you're in that job, you really don't need people chirping from the outside." She did say Clinton "knows where to find me, and a couple of times she has found me."
Rice is promoting her new book, "Condoleezza Rice: A Memoir of My Extraordinary, Ordinary Family and Me."
