Fewer plants in the water garden?

July 17, 2008

In early spring, the plants in a water garden look so small and cover so little territory. But by this time of year, they've really taken off. And now there may be too much vegetation. To keep water quality high, make sure that at least one-third of the water's surface is free of plants. If you need to remove some to achieve that goal, give the extras to friends.
