Repeat blooming daylilies need moisture

July 15, 2008

Once they've been in your yard for a year or so, daylilies can pretty much get along without much attention. But reblooming daylilies or repeat-blooming daylilies (Stella d'Oro, for example) do need rainfall or watering until they finish blooming for the last time. Rebloomers often don't flower the second time if they receive no moisture after the first blossoms fade.
