Officials say a glitch that delayed the payment of unemployment insurance benefits to about 100,000 Nevadans has been fixed.

The state Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation says a vendor that handles posting benefits into people's accounts reported the problem Wednesday.

But Cynthia Jones of the state Employment Security Division says the problem was resolved, and deposits to recipients debit cards would be complete by the end of the day.

Nevada's unemployment rate hit a record 13.7 percent in April, with 193,000 people out of work.
