I could hardly put down Encounters: A Lifetime Spent Crossing Cultural Frontiers by Nancy Keeney Forster. Forster has skillfully taken notes left by her husband Cliff (including those about his internment as a child by the Japanese in the Philippines during World War II) and woven them into the story of their many diplomatic assignments together in the world. It’s a must read for all peace lovers and problem solvers.
