My Reading Life by Pat Conroy is the author’s love letter to literature and his favorite writers. Prominent among the latter are Leo Tolstoy, Margaret Mitchell, Thomas Wolfe, and James Dickey. His admiration and enthusiasm, though not unbiased, are inspiring and contagious.
