Okay, I'm hooked. Since June, I've read "Turtle Moon," "Story Sisters," "Local Girls," "Seventh Heaven," "River King," and The Third Angel. Because I'm assigning "The Third Angel" in my college-level seminar, I've read and re-read it. The second time I constructed a set of family trees, connecting the characters and years.
