Hands of My Father

April 1, 2009

I just finished reading  Hands of  My Father by Myron Uhlberg.  It's a memoir of a hearing child growing up with deaf parents. He was born 1933 and until he went off too college he was the "telephone" of his father. It is beautifully written memoir of a tough time in the USA and of the tough and loving people who lived and loved through those times.
