I have just finished The Space Between Us, by Thrity Umrigar. If you liked “The Kite Runner” you will love this one even more. Set in contemporary Bombay, it beautifully addresses the nuances that are in constant play between the employee/employer relationship as well as the even greater influence of class. This novel writes of the hidden flow of life among the women in everyday life in India.
