People of the Book

I found People of the Book a very intriguing read as it contained so much history. The story traveled backward in time as the main character discovered tiny items in an ancient Hebrew manuscript that went from Sarajevo around the world. Muslims, Christians, Jews all enter into the story as they preserve the beautiful manuscript. It was written by Pulitzer Prize-winner Geraldine Brooks.
