Morality for Beautiful Girls

Alexander McCall Smith's Morality for Beautiful Girls is the third installment of his No.#1 Ladies Detective Agency series. I spend a lot of time reading books on biography, international relations, history, and politics. Pretty heavy stuff. I wanted to take a vacation from all that and spend time with the witty and wise Precious Ramotswe in the relatively uncomplicated and endearing universe of Botswana. McCall Smith does a remarkable job of creating, or recreating, a wonderful landscape populated with honest characters devoid of modern angst and untroubled by existentialism or deconstructionism.
