High School Musical 2

(Disney Channel, Aug. 17, 8 p.m.): The show that has been called "Grease" for this generation is back with a second installment. This time the East High School boys and girls are out on summer vacation, all employed at a country club owned by the mom and dad of the evil Sharpay siblings. And yes, there's an end-of-summer talent show. There's also more singing and dancing – and more drama. If you liked the first one, you'll like this one just fine. The kids are just as photogenic and the songs are just as hummable. It won't launch any more careers, but it's a good family film for a warm Friday night. Grade: B
