Correction

June 12, 2003

The June 5 story about Martha Stewart ("Wall Street housecleaning turns to Stewart," pages 1 and 4) misstated the charges filed against her. It should have said she was indicted on charges of securities fraud, obstruction of justice, and making false statements.

In the June 5 story "Spider-Man's sticky power in human reach" on pages 1 and 2, the cost of the scientists' small piece of gecko tape was misstated. It is $500, they say.

The story "From boat person to terror war point man" (June 9, page 2) mentioned a Time magazine report that Viet Dinh is among Justice Department officials advised to seek legal counsel in case immigration detainees sue the government. The magazine has withdrawn the report.
