Monitor writer recognized for his work

Monitor staff writer Mark Clayton received the Iris Molotsky Award for Excellence in Coverage of Higher Education last weekend for his two-part series, "TheGenderEquation." Mr. Clayton's articles, which ran on May 22 and 29, 2001, examined colleges' attempts to increase male enrollment on campus by giving men favorable admissions treatment. The award is given annually by the American Association of University Professors.
