Don Anderson, owner of Umpqua Tree Farm in Roseburg, Ore., sizes up his Douglas firs. He has been growing Christmas trees for 33 years. Demand for live trees has remained flat this year, but the market for fresh wreaths continues to grow. The Pacific Northwest is one of the top wreath-making regions.
