Citizens Ed 101

Chicago-area residents can attend a civics boot camp to sharpen their skills as citizens. The nonpartisan Citizen Advocacy Center in Elmhurst, Ill., offers a free six-week course on effective citizenship. Participants will learn how to contact government officials and read a government budget.
