Last days in Panama

US Army soldiers Monday retired the last American flag to fly over Fort Clayton, which overlooks the world-famous Panama Canal. The base is the last of 14 US installations to be handed over to Panama under a 1977 treaty that gives the Central American nation control of the shipping channel.
