"we're not in here."
- A note scrawled on a sheet of paper and slipped under the office door of House Ways and Means Health Subcommittee Chairman Bill Thomas (R) of Calif. to reporters staking out what was supposed to be a highly secret meeting on managed care legislation. Reporters turned the paper over, scribbled "We're not out here, either," and shoved the paper back under the door.
