Runners in last year's Boston Marathon head into Wellesley, Mass., halfway through the 26-mile, 385-yard course. Boston's 103-year-old race is the oldest in America and the second-oldest in the world (only the Olympic event is older). Coverage of this year's Boston Marathon will appear in Thursday's Monitor.
