Yellow gold's call

April 5, 1999

Not to be outdone by a mass of daffodils, spiky forsythia reach out barbed limbs. Just around the corner, delicate and dotted, dandelions march in a steady progression.

Waves of warm yellow conspire to divert me, shamelessly beckoning, luring me, calling, and bright on the asphalt, delicious enticement: a double-gold line that beguiles me.
