New look appeals to reader

I am a student at the University of Vermont, and I have recently subscribed to the Monitor, as advised in my environmental studies class. I am excited about everything that your paper has to offer -

especially the superb environmental, habitat, and science sections. I did notice ``The News in Brief'' section when I opened the paper, and I know that this section will be very useful to me in keeping up with what is going on around the world. I like the idea of making the paper available on the Internet. I know this would enable more people to receive the news, and it would also cut down on paper. Christy Edmonson, Burlington, Vt.
