At the Big Brick Presbyterian Church

We'd spend the day talking about the Civil War with some descendants of the sons who fought it, we'd gather down at the big brick Presbyterian Church, somebody'd say its been over a hundred years now but still it seemed like yesterday, say how such a tragedy it was but how it had to be anyway, say if hadn't come when it did it'd been much worse later on, somebody'd say a few remembering words for Lee, some for Grant, would recall Lincoln and all his agony, would pray for the son's mother' peace of mind, pray for this day.
