Without Banners

January 26, 1994

I know now that nothing announces itself: nothing sends heralds, flies banners, beats drums, to tell me: take notice, for here it comes: the hour that later, I will treasure- a segment of time recalled forever. So, as day follows day, I try to scan its face, form and essence as it moves on in case this is the moment to review or renew, or relive or return to all life through.
