* Two-thirds of those surveyed said they felt that charities do not provide enough information about their activities.

* Respondents age 18 to 34 (35 percent of those surveyed) were significantly less likely to be very concerned about the amount charities spend on expenses not directly related to the problem they are fighting.

* Those respondents age 55 or older (61 percent) were significantly more likely to be very concerned about this issue.
