CORRECTION

Several cities were mistakenly depicted east of their actual locations on a map of central Europe, Russia, nad Turkey that appeared in the Monitor Sept. 13. They included the Ukrainian city of Sevastopol, which in fact is in the Crimea, and Istanbul (Constantinople), located on the Bosporus Strait between the Black Sea and the Sea of Marmara.

On Sept. 14, a Monitor caption incorrectly characterized Ibrahim Elgabrowny's role in th World Trade Center bombing trial that opened this week. He has been charged with conspiracy to bomb, but will be tried at a later time.
