BRING OUT THE BEEF ON JULY 4

* Along with fireworks and parades, lots of Americans love a good, juicy burger cooked on the grill on July 4. Americans consume 20 percent more beef on Independence Day than on an average day, according to the Washington-based National Cattlemen's Association. On a typical day, about 62.5 million pounds of beef are consumed, but on July 4 it is 75 million pounds.
