PC PURCHASERS' REMORSE OVER POOR CHOICES

January 8, 1993

People who have recently purchased a personal computer wish they had been more careful in their choice, according to a recent survey by Channel Marketing Corporation.

The 1,000 new computer owners interviewed indicated they regretted not adding capabilities when they purchased their computers. The major reason was the additional cost.

Ninety percent said they should have more seriously considered future applications.

Within six months of buying their computer respondents returned to the store to upgrade the system. Almost all who responded said it would have saved them a significant amount of money if the PC had been purchased with the desired options.
