MORE FIRMS FOCUS ON ETHICS

Corporate efforts to improve business ethics are growing in size and scope, according to a Conference Board report. A survey of 264 firms from the US, Europe, and Canada found that about one-third of them said a statement on ethics had been issued by their CEOs in 1991. About 25 percent of the firms have also created ethics training programs.
