FINDING A BALANCE BETWEEN FAMILY, CAREER

January 17, 1992

Ninety-two percent of 200 executives from the nation's 1000 largest firms said that employees are more concerned with balancing family duties and jobs today than they were five years ago, according to a survey by Robert Half International.

Half of the respondents said the number of executives willing to work long hours on a fast career track has decreased over the same time period, with the No. 1 reason (59 percent) being a desire for more time with their families.
