SPECIAL MONITOR REPORT: DIRECTIONS IN SCIENCE

January 2, 1992

In this issue The Christian Science Monitor presents to its readers "Directions in Science," its contribution to the World Media Project. World Media is a consortium of two dozen newspapers around the world that have begun twice-yearly reports on topics of global concern.

The newspapers seek out leading experts in various fields related to the topic and contribute articles and interviews from their corners of the globe. Additional articles will appear in the Monitor's science and technology pages on Jan. 8 in the daily paper, and in the World Edition dated Jan. 10-16. Below are the flags, or logos, of the participating newspapers.
