GORE PONDERS '92 RUN FOR PRESIDENT

Sen. Albert Gore Jr. of Tennessee is considering a new bid for the Democratic presidential nomination in 1992, the Atlanta Journal said Saturday. In an interview, Senator Gore told the newspaper Democrats should run a "raging moderate from the mid-South" against President Bush.

Gore, who lost the 1988 Democratic nomination to then-Gov. Michael Dukakis of Massachusetts, said he expected Bush to be vulnerable on domestic economic issues in the 1992 election, if not on foreign policy.
