CELLULAR PHONES GAIN NEW USERS

About 4.4 million people are now using cellullar phones, according to a survey by the Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association. Some 860,000 subscribers were added during the last six months, the industry group reports. The survey found a decline in the average bill paid by subscribers: from $89.30 to $83.94. The average length of a phone call remained around 2.3 minutes.
