The Whys, And Wonders, Of Light

May 25, 1990

Do you know, the lightning bugs were out again last night. Sticking to the windowpanes, their oh too happy welcomes, blinking little star lights through the woods.

Reminding me, of listening to the peepers rejoice in the rain, while watching a dazzle of fireflies against a backdrop of light-streaked night.

And you, telling me. We two, swaying in the storm's breeze. Talking of the whys of light.
