Awards Announced

The Christian Science Monitor has won two Awards of Excellence from the Society of Newspaper Designers. The awards, given as part of the 1989 ``Eleventh Edition'' SND Design Competition, were for presentation of the Monitor's coverage of the changing face of communism and for a five-part series ``Up From Wounded Knee.''
