Bayeux tapestry

Did you laugh, ladies, While stitching at your warriors (So elegantly stylized) And wonder how they'd fought? Did your wimples waggle As you tittered, heads together, Discovering quaint likenesses To gentlemen at court? Did you hoot with laughter At the awkwardness of attitudes, And joke at how they'd manage, Flabby fingered - lanky toed? And perhaps you had your favorites - Fell for them a little bit - Oh did you laugh, my ladies, At the funny men you sewed?
