An article that ran under the headline ``Teaching a machine to see the houses for the trees'' Dec. 2 contained an editing error. The name of the electrical engineer working on ``machine vision'' at the University of Wisconsin is Prof. Bahaa Saleh. The Monitor regrets this mistake.
