Proxmire seeks import ban on South African Kruggerands

Sen. William Proxmire (D) of Wisconsin announced Saturday he will introduce legislation to ban the importation of gold Kruggerand coins from South Africa. He said his bill will also forbid new American investment in that country and establish ''fair employment'' standards for the 350 US companies now operating there.
