Nicaraguan editor to start anti-censorship campaign

Pedro Joaquin Chamorro Barrios, the editor of Nicaragua's opposition newspaper La Prensa, said here Saturday he plans to launch an international campaign to denounce censorship in his country. The leftist Sandinista government imposed censorship in March 1982.

In another development, the New York Times reported Sunday that a meeting between the Sandinistas and representatives of Miskito Indians foundered last Friday over demands for political autonomy in the Indians' Atlantic Coast homelands.
