Gromyko is reported willing to offer limited site inspection

Soviet Foreign Minister Andrei Gromyko may offer to allow limited inspection of nuclear test sites when he meets with US Secretary of State George P. Shultz next month in Geneva, the Boston Globe reported Thursday.

In exchange, the Soviets want the United States to ratify the 10-year-old Threshold Test Ban Treaty, which would outlaw underground nuclear explosions greater than 150 kilotons.
