Gorbachev to head group from USSR on British visit

Politburo member Mikhail S. Gorbachev, believed to be the Kremlin's No. 2 man , will visit Britain this month and meet with Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher and Britain's foreign secretary, Sir Geoffrey Howe. Mr. Gorbachev will head a delegation of members of the Soviet parliament who were invited by the British section of the Inter-Parliamentary Union. A British Embassy spokesman said the trip will be Dec. 15-22.
