Argentina to get $4.2 billion in new loans from bank panel

Argentina has announced an agreement with commercial creditor banks for $4.2 billion in new loans and credits - and the repayment of nearly $2 billion in back interest and principal on old loans. Under the agreement with a committee representing 350 creditor banks, Argentina will receive $3.7 billion in new money and a $500 million trade credit.
