Pup (short for perpetual motion)

He growls and guards his bone as if we'd robbed him of it daily; sneezes mightily after a sniff of catnip; races gaily however clumsily about the house and yard, and then, brave-as-a-bear, scares a tomcat out, and starts all over again.
