In a summary of election results for the Northeast on Page 3 of Thursday's Monitor, the party affiliations of two New York congressional candidates were incorrect. The two candidates are US Rep. Bill Green (R) and Manhattan borough president Andrew Stein (D). The story also should have said that the state Senate retained its Republican majority, and the Assembly kept its Democratic majority.
