Americans in Lebanon face new terror threat, US says

The Reagan administration says there is an ''across-the-board threat'' by terrorists against Americans in Lebanon and that it may be part of a campaign to isolate Lebanon from the West. State Department spokesman John Hughes renewed a warning for US citizens against traveling there, after four Lebanese employees of the Associated Press office in Beirut disappeared on their way to work Wednesday. They were released unharmed yesterday. They had been missing more than 30 hours.
