Mondale: Reagan-Gromyko talks yielded only photos

Walter F. Mondale, campaigning here with former President Carter and the Rev. Jesse Jackson, said Saturday that a week's meetings between top US and Soviet leaders added up to nothing more than ''photos and no progress'' on arms control , and he called on President Reagan to report to the American people on his meetings with Soviet Foreign Minister Andrei Gromyko.

The Soviet news agency, Tass, said Friday that Mr. Mondale had put forward ideas that could pave the way to arms accords, at his meeting with Mr. Gromyko last week. Asked about the report, Mondale said he had not negotiated with Gromyko.
