Bush charges Mondale trying to gain over Beirut bombing

Vice-President George Bush accused Walter F. Mondale Tuesday of trying to capitalize politically on the terrorist bombing in Lebanon, saying, ''I really think there is a certain sense of desperation on the part of Mr. Mondale.'' Mondale on Monday criticized the lack of full security measures at the US Embassy in Beirut.

Meanwhile, Geraldine Ferraro, campaigning in Michigan, said that President Reagan has made ''American jobs our chief export.''
